Instructions for Authors

1. General Requirements

  1. Manuscripts must be original and not simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
  2. Submissions are accepted through the online submission system.
  3. Scholarly manuscripts undergo double-blind external peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
  4. All submissions are screened in the licensed Antiplagiat system before external peer review; similarity is assessed source by source and no percentage alone determines a decision.
  5. Authors must disclose funding, competing interests, acknowledgments and material AI assistance.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 Title Page

Provide the article title, full author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, corresponding-author details, CRediT contributions, funding and acknowledgments.

2.2 Abstract and Keywords

Use a structured abstract where appropriate and 3–6 keywords, preferably MeSH terms.

2.3 Main Text

Structure the manuscript according to the review design and applicable reporting guideline.

2.4 References

Use Vancouver style, verify every reference against the original source and include DOI where available.

2.5 Tables and Figures

Number tables and figures consecutively, cite them in the text and provide legends.

2.6 Abbreviations

Define abbreviations at first mention and avoid unnecessary abbreviations in titles and abstracts.

3. Reporting and Supplementary Materials

Submit the reporting checklist appropriate to the review design, complete search strategies, flow diagram and supplementary tables or datasets when they are part of the reported work.

4. Revisions

  1. Provide a point-by-point response to reviewers.
  2. Submit a clearly marked revised manuscript when requested.

5. Ethical Standards

Protocol registration is encouraged where an appropriate registry exists. Authors remain responsible for permissions, confidential information and accurate reporting of the ethical context of included studies.

6. Research Integrity

All submissions are screened in the licensed Antiplagiat system for plagiarism and text similarity during technical assessment before external peer review. Similarity reports are assessed source by source under the journal policies.

7. Open Access and Copyright

GMR is free for authors and readers. Articles are published under CC BY 4.0 and authors retain copyright.

8. Submission Steps

  1. Register or log in.
  2. Enter manuscript metadata.
  3. Upload required files.
  4. Review the submission.
  5. Submit the manuscript.
