Crossmark and Publication Update Policy

Current status

GMR maintains separate correction, update, expression-of-concern and retraction notices and links them to affected articles. The Crossmark button is not displayed until the journal has an active Crossref route, a DOI assigned to this policy page and registered Crossmark metadata.

• Withdrawal or Publisher Notice where applicable

Version preservation

Editorially significant changes are not silently substituted. A separate notice explains the change and the original record remains identifiable. When Crossref services are active, each significant notice will receive its own DOI and update relation.
