Peer Review PolicyEvery scholarly manuscript undergoes double-blind external peer review by at least two independent reviewers before an acceptance decision.Publication Ethics and Editorial StandardsGMR applies transparent procedures for authorship, peer review, conflicts, research integrity, corrections and preservation of the scholarly record.Submissions from Editors and Editorial Board MembersEditors and board members receive no preferential treatment and are fully excluded from handling their own or otherwise conflicted manuscripts.Authorship, Contributors and ChangesAuthorship must reflect accountable intellectual contribution; CRediT roles are recorded for every author.Competing Interests PolicyAuthors, reviewers and editors must disclose relationships or interests that could reasonably be perceived to influence their work.Plagiarism, Text Recycling and Citation IntegrityAll submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism and text-similarity screening in Antiplagiat before external peer review, followed by source-by-source editorial assessment.Research Integrity and Misconduct PolicyCredible allegations are documented, assessed confidentially and handled through a proportionate process before or after publication.Complaints and Appeals PolicyAuthors and other stakeholders may challenge a documented procedural error, editorial conduct or peer-reviewed decision through an independent route.Post-publication Discussion and Letters to the EditorReaders may submit evidence-based comments; significant issues are linked to the original article and may lead to a reply, correction, update, expression of concern or retraction.Corrections, Updates, Expressions of Concern and RetractionsMaterial changes are issued as separate, dated notices linked to the original article; the original scholarly record is preserved.Open Access, Copyright and Licence to PublishArticles are immediately open access under CC BY 4.0; authors retain copyright and grant GMR a non-exclusive licence to publish.Publication FeesGMR charges no submission, processing, editorial, peer-review, publication or reader-access fees.Data, Code and Reproducibility PolicyEvidence syntheses should make searches, selection decisions, extracted data, appraisal records and analytic code available whenever ethically and legally possible.Reporting GuidelinesAuthors must follow the reporting guideline appropriate to the review type and submit the completed checklist and flow diagram where applicable.Research Ethics for Evidence SynthesesGMR does not accept new primary human, animal, clinical or laboratory research; ethical requirements relate to evidence synthesis and any reused or participant-level data.Protocols, Registries and Unpublished StudiesReview protocols should be registered prospectively and searches should consider registries and unpublished or ongoing evidence where relevant.Preprint PolicyPosting a manuscript on a recognized non-commercial preprint server is permitted when disclosed.Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools PolicyAI cannot be an author; material use must be disclosed, outputs verified and confidential manuscripts protected.Image, Figure and Visual IntegrityFigures must accurately represent the underlying evidence and disclose permitted processing.Editorial Independence, Ownership and FundingThe publisher supports journal operations but does not control individual manuscript decisions.Copyright, Licensing and Archiving PolicyAuthors retain copyright. GMR publishes Version of Record articles under CC BY 4.0 and preserves the scholarly record through controlled backups and versioned post-publication notices.Advertising, Sponsorship and Direct MarketingGMR does not currently accept commercial advertising, sponsored editorial content or paid product promotion.Special Issues and Guest-edited CollectionsGMR does not currently accept proposals for special issues, thematic supplements or guest-edited collections.Digital Preservation and PermanencePublished articles, metadata and editorial records are backed up and maintained to preserve access and the scholarly record.Privacy and Personal Data PolicyThe publisher processes personal data necessary to operate the journal, peer review, publication, security and research-integrity procedures.Cookie PolicyThe core platform uses one first-party session cookie that is strictly necessary for authentication and security.Crossmark and Publication Update PolicyThis page documents how GMR maintains the current status of published content; Crossmark will be activated only after Crossref requirements are completed.
